Sing, Dance, Play: An Introduction to the Arts

This class enhances the natural creativity of young students with each exploration in the Magic Imagination Trunk.  There is an adventure waiting each classtime to find either a book, puppet, instrument, costume or prop that will start the students on a journey of discovery in music, dance, make-believe, poetry and play.  What fun!  Taught by Shelley Davies.  Ages 3-5. Thursdays 4 PM - 4:45 PM. January 5 - May 24. $40 Monthly.

Performing Arts 1-2

Students discover firsthand the magic of performing arts in the fun-filled Performing Arts class. Through engaging activities that include storytelling, music, stage movement, and creating characters, they will explore the foundations and techniques of effective performance and then show off what they learn in winter and spring class performances.  Taught by Rebecca Hess and Jillian Tirado. Ages 6-7.  Wednesdays 5 PM - 6 PM.  January 4 - May 23.  $40 Monthly. 

Musical Theatre Production 3-6

Students take center stage as they learn the FUNdamental parts of musical theater in this delightful class. Acting, singing, and dancing each week, students rehearse and then perform in a production that is part of the CenterPoint Children's Theatre Season.  The increased self-confidence and social ability that students also develop help them effectively perform in all aspects of their lives, onstage and off.  Taught by Krissy Beecher, Margo Beecher and Trisha Udy.  Ages 8-11.  Thursdays 4 PM - 6 PM. January 5 - June 14. $60 Monthly. 

Musical Theatre Production 7-12

All the world’s a stage and everyone in the Musical Theatre Production 7-12 class becomes a more skilled and confident stage player in this class. Each week students explore a broad range of theater skills, including character development, stage movement and choreography, speech techniques, and vocal production as they rehearse and then perform in an entertaining  production to culminate the class.  Taught by Missy Riffle.  Ages 12-18.  Tuesdays 4 PM - 6 PM. January 10 - May 15. $60 Monthly.

Children's Chorus

"Sing, sing a song" ... that's what the Children’s Chorus class is all about. Designed to introduce young singers to the wonders and excitement of singing and music,  students will develop increased vocal and musical skill, learn basic rhythmic concepts, and enjoy an introduction to many different styles  of music.  Students will also perform what they learn during in-class and pre-show performances.by Laura Krummenacher. Ages 4-7. Friday 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM. March 9 - May 25. $40 Monthly.  Students who enroll by March 1 get $10 off first month's tuition.
