Rodgers to become CenterPoint Legacy Theatre

The group behind the theater company, which will be moving to the Davis Cultural Arts Center (DCAC) in early 2011, recently announced that after the move they'll be known as CenterPoint Legacy Theatre. The new organization, which will be the main tenant at the DCAC, will consist of the Rodgers Memorial Theatre group and others who are interested in the arts. Read more...

In 1991, Ralph Rodgers, who once managed the old Promised Valley Playhouse, opened Pages Lane Theater in Centerville. When Rodgers passed away in 1997, the family donated the theater to the Davis County Performing Arts Corporation, and it reopened as Rodgers Memorial Theatre, a mainstay of...community theater.
