I currently serve as the Director of Patron Experience at CenterPoint Theatre and feel incredibly grateful to continue my journey here after spending the past 10 years as the Marketing Director. Prior to CenterPoint, I spent 28 years at Carr Printing Co. in Bountiful as the Assistant Yearbook Director and Yearbook Director—a career rooted in storytelling, connection, and preserving meaningful moments. One of my favorite lines in all of theatre comes from Ragtime: “We have different lives and faces, but our hearts have common places.” That line beautifully captures why theatre matters so deeply to me.
I believe theatre—and CenterPoint Theatre in particular—is essential to our community’s well-being. This beautiful venue gives us a place to express ourselves, to laugh, to cry, to dance, to sing, to learn, and to love. Ragtime is hands down my favorite musical ever performed at CPT. The music was extraordinary, each song woven seamlessly into the fabric of the story. Its powerful exploration of racism, class systems, and social injustice still resonates today, and it carried an emotional punch that kept pulling me back again and again. My second favorite would be Daddy Long Legs—I loved the simplicity, creativity, and genuine heart of the story.
Jeff and I are the proud parents of four truly wonderful young men and grandparents to two adorable, energetic, and clever granddaughters and six grandsons. When I find a spare moment, you’ll likely find me in my garden, reading a good book, camping, traveling, compiling family history books, or—best of all—spending every minute I can with the grandkids.
