“Finding beauty in the fold, it’s the only way to keep from growing old, my friend — stay gold.”
— The Outsiders
I am the youngest of five children, all of whom were deeply involved in theater and the arts. Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I always knew I wanted to build a life in the creative world. Through experiences both onstage and backstage, I discovered the transformative power of storytelling and its ability to truly change people.
I attended the Makeup Designory in New York City, where I trained in makeup for theater, film, and television. Living in the city only strengthened my love for theater and solidified my determination to be part of it for the rest of my life.
I am forever grateful for my parents’ support of all things creative — their encouragement has allowed me to participate in the arts in so many meaningful ways. I love playing piano, and one of my favorite theatrical experiences to date was serving as the pianist for the live band in Daddy Long Legs at CPT.
I graduated from UVU with a degree in Commercial Music, with an emphasis in Vocal Performance. My first show at CPT was Sister Act, where I performed as a nun — and it remains one of my all-time favorites.
You can find me in New York City at least once a year, seeing new shows and eating great food. Some of my favorite productions I’ve seen there include the revivals of Ragtime and Parade, as well as The Outsiders. And if you ever visit the city, do yourself a favor and order the pull-apart bread at Maison Pickle.
