Brooke Liljenquist

Brooke was born and raised here in Davis County and has loved theater since she was born. In fact, one of her earliest memories is of composing, producing and starring in an original musical in her driveway at the ripe old age of 6. She is a certified musical theater nerd and has found a home here among other like-minded individuals. She has directed & choreographed school productions of Seussical (twice), Beauty & The Beast, Lion King (also twice), and Shrek, effectively indoctrinating her own children into this crazy hobby. With decades of piano and vocal training, musical directing was a natural fit for her and she has taught at the Academy since 2022. She can hardly believe she gets paid to have fun making music with kids. She believes every voice is valuable and wants to give her students the confidence to make their voices heard.
